Jim and Doc: Deer movement has been steady, not great the last 10 days. Seeing deer trickle thru feeding lanes mostly on morning hunts.Afternoon hunts are seeing few deer between 4PM and dusk. Doc bagged a nice 7 pointer 160lb at 9AM last Saturday morning using a bleat call.

GOOD LUCK.
Ann:
Things are heating up rapidly this week. After noticing that several of my resident does had abandoned their fawns, I decided to sit my own property on Yonges Island. I re-worked some scrapes along a cutdown, got in the stand early and gave a few doe bleats, which brought in a nice 8 point at 5:20pm yesterday. |

Dave: Past weekend was awful slow...saw 3 deer on 5 hunts.Plenty of scraping activity and rut sign but no deer. Will be back this weekend and see if cooler weather gets the deer moving better.
